I can choose you
but what does it matter
unless you choose me too

concurrent choosing
is required
for a love relationship
but not for losing love
unilateral action is accepted

I can choose you
but it doesn’t matter
unless we choose each other
every day

  1. This is lovely, and the truth behind it can be seen as beautiful or heart wrenching, depending on ones situation.
I can say, finding this person who chooses you everyday, just as you do them? It’s what life is all about.

  2. Well, Dakota I am so glad that You see both sides of this! Very insightful and wise! It is so wonderful if You are on the side that both are choosing each other versus a one sided ending! I’m really liking to see Your Icon Photo in my alerts! I hope You will find time to check out my works in the archives?? See You next time – thanks so much for commenting!!
