Impotent rage

.

Impotent rage, the blight of my mind.
The things I cannot change…
Never far behind…
Pressing forward anyway in a world of woe…

Let the night steal my yesterday’s…
The moon can claim my dreams…
The stars above know the rest…
To them I’ll look, not some book…
I’ll follow where they lead…
The babbling brook of the surrendered mind…
A place outside of time…
Hello? Do you know? Let go!

NOTE: Impotent Rage refers to our inability to change what we cannot change and the rage that comes with it.
