Murky

.

Life can be murky at best.

It’s hard to stand the test of lurking uncertainty, difficult tendencies.

Thoughts that throw you into a head spin just when it’s time to pin a decision down.

Self-derision or self-doubt, it’s all the same and it’s hard to change.

Somehow foolishly imagine your choice is not as drastic as it seems,

that future perspective will deem your current fear trivial.

Dare to dream this choice won’t be pivotal,

That you’ll survive regardless.

Mistakes are okay because life is opaque.

It’s hard to define the perfect way to live, the path native to success,

The actions that protect from stress, worry and pain.

But there’s no shame in not knowing.

We’re all born unsure.
