A Fish in the Flood

by Harry

.

So it’s down to that craggy bog again
to play with that rabid dog again
And all that seeps within
Perfect love and perfect sin
Ah yes, My gate swings both ways my love
With words that hold great sway my dove

But I have had too much
Like a fish in the flood
Too many disappointments
Too many poisonous ointments
Too many lies deceits betrayals defeats
I have had too much my love
