A Ribbon of Darkness

by rakepoetry

She wore a ribbon

When the world was
Bright as spring,
A ribbon of darkness.

It held in her hair
And fell gentle
Like breeze in a tree:

A ribbon of darkness,
And she wore it—
For me.
