Perhaps you were the one
But I knew it not at the time
Perhaps you were my rising sun
But I never took the signs
Perhaps you were my all
But I never noticed your glow
Perhaps you should’ve been my wake-up call
But now how can I know..
I really love the topic of Perhaps! Such a great word with so many meanings and feelings hidden within a single word! There’s room for so many – longing, remembrance, regret, anticipation etc. etc Excellent!
