Junko Trapeze

Dark-eyed Junko trapeze from branch to branch.

Outside my window they gather for some feed…

that has fallen on winter’s white cape…

the chill in the air is waning…

as icicles along the eaves

drip drop – recede.

Sausages, this Sunday morn, are frying in the pan

and hazelnut coffee is in demand…
