Poetry Challenge – Sweet Dreams

by paturnerlee

Poetry challenge: Valentines poem.

.

Sweet Dreams

Lavender oil streams of flavours,

A heart throbbing sign.

Peeling bells and flower petals falling gently on your sleeves

Stealing covers

Thrones of thoughts; rocking in the chair by the veranda

Sand coloured clouds drift aimlessly

Breathless wind catches words for what it is worth

A comfort and caress

A stroke of the soft damson dress

A song in the rustle of the trees

As sunsets and night draws the curtain on day

Say what needs to be said

I Love you
