Poem of the Day – Deals in Dark Rooms

by paturnerlee

Deals in Dark Rooms

Clipped and sawn planks of pain driven deep

In keep with the blade slayer

Shivering in silver chilled blankets

Collapsed and waiting for courage

Beast building wings for flying

Complying with clasps on windows

Strange extremes blowing outside margins

Tins of oils spreading stories

Left behind in grim still wind blown pastures

Grubbed ready for winter

The chilled frost breaking the steam roller picture

A mess: a frolic, a genius

Beckoning to spring time charms and shoots

Walking in daisies

Chained in blooming indifference

A harsh reality
