The Difference Between Me And You

by Sebastian St.John Montgomery-Greystoke

sam_9390I think there’s been a misunderstanding.

I like rain storms, not brain storms

Real streams, not work streams

Any cloud, but not the cloud

An actual blue sky, not your Blue Sky Thinking

I want to break out of the room, not enter a ‘Break Out Room’

Give me a mouse, I’ll give it some cheese

I’ll work on a sheep farm, but not in a cube farm

In open space, not cyberspace

I like oak trees, not decision trees

OS Maps, not process maps

The slow road, not the Fast Track

A traditional stone wall will keep me safe, not a Firewall

I’d rather lie down in the long grass, than kick this problem into it

You say we have a mountain to climb. I literally have to go and climb a mountain

Thanks for inviting me for an interview, but I’m not sure I really want to work here.

Goodbye.
