Poem of the Day – White and Pink

by paturnerlee

White and Pink

Bluster, bleak and seen to be chosen

Frozen in moments

A slim chance to be teased

Broken gate swinging, clinging to bold expressions

Air drifting heavy in droplets heavy dark and all engulfing

Mud slides, sticking to well trodden stories

Dripping long pools of pain

Cascades of decisions break the silence;

Splashing toys

Shattering illusions

Chosen thoughts sifted in soft brown and yellow branches

Beleaguered and bereft

Cramped and chipped on the edges

Floating soaked in charming wisdom

Fleeting in substance

A thought

A given
