2017 – Every Moment

by Venkat

rockets, they go as bullets

into empty stars

rockets, they swoop as eagles

losing wings of breath

this world, up on a balloon

filled in rejoice, on rockets

paint a weary wisdom

love, tied on arrows

may find the apple

but for tastes of sandy earth

flowers, they do burst

a hundred honeyed moons

sparkling unknown hearts

a new corner, a new home

every moment

springs, they do shower

angels of peace

a new corner, a new home

every moment

may voices of this soul

erupt in joy to find

in songs of thought

a new corner, a new home

every moment
