An “It’s Rigged If I Lose and I Won’t Accept The Results And Now That I Won, It Was Still Rigged and I Won’t Accept The Results” Limerick

by Joel Kravitz

It’s no holds barred when Trump competes.
He tells lies which he repeats.
Who could have expected
He’d get elected….
And be the first President who Tweets!

Donald J. Trump on Twitter
‏@realDonaldTrump
In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.

Recount momentum is starting to mount
And Trump’s Twitter rant is tantamount
To putting the blame
For his rigged election claim
On illegal votes(?) impossible to count…..or prove.

  1. Joel,
Would you consider the following tweaking on your excellent limerick?

It’s no holds barred when Trump competes.
He tells us lies which he repeats.
    Who could have expected
    He would be elected….
He’s the first President who Tweets!

    Very clever.

  2. Very very clear and clever, both of you! 🙂

  3. Trump is a wonder in unpolitical and irrational behavior. I’m a Canadian who looks on in disbelief.

  4. Our country must seem quite irrational,
    Or certainly somewhat binational.
    For our college elected
    Whom the people rejected,
    With effects to extend international.

Disclaimer: I actually voted for Trump. I’ve worked in companies that have crazy CEOs and sometimes they do turn out to be good leaders. 🙂

  5. Republicans rule the senate

    Republicans rule congress

now they have the full set

an arse hole in the white house.
