Runaway Train

by mkvecchitto

Can’t get off this train

barreling down tracks skewed

a little to the left, to the right

Meticulously laid by those

who create the future

while running from the past

In-depth plans malleable

trusting in blind faith

and blank stares

of willing riders

unaware

as they

crash

  1. Mkvecchitto, It is so tragic, but I must tell you I feel that trail jogging from side to side, see the people so unaware. You have depicted the scene so well it is easy for this reader to become a part of your fabulous poem. Thank you for having created such a perfect read. I am breathless and looking forward to reading so many more.
