Pet Horse

by Miriam Hurdle

Tanka Poem

Soft afternoon sun,

Clicking, clacking, horse strolling.

Silky, shiny hair,

Flowy, silver, graceful tail.

Proud rider and her pet horse!

  1. Made me miss strolling with horses in a summer’s afternoon.

  2. She was relaxing! I asked her if I could take her picture, today, and she was proud to say ‘yes.’ There is a horse ring by the lake and many young people show their horses and tricks they do with their horses. We like to watch them.
