Autumn’s Scenery

by Colly

Autumn leaves toss to – fro on the road;

blithesome, windswept, one or two rise.

Stop, hesitate, cartwheel along my side.

Wipers, as galoshes, disperse raindrops.

Chromatic scenery lustre with moisture.

Two crows sway, crisscross in forefront.

Wet wings haplessly driven by the wind.

Out of compass range – their sanctuary.

Least I know of these I steady my tread.
