Three sixty degree seas

Three seagulls have been following
and flying in our wake
Means we must be close to land
of that there’s no mistake
For though three sixty round about
Iberian waters lie
we’re fairly close to Portugal
the seagulls seemed to cry
By way of confirmation
they flew away those three
off to somewhere in the east
where tomorrow we will be

Photo – These three seagulls flew with the ship for several miles as we were nearing the coast of Northern Portugal/Spain – Jempics
