You may write me down in history

As one who tried her best

You may write me down in history

As someone who was blessed

You may write me down in history

As a girl who loved her food

You may write me down in history

As someone of many moods

You may write me down in history

As a mother and a wife

You may write me down in history

As someone that cherished life.

You may write me down in history

As a lover of nature’s beauty

You may write me down in history

As someone who did her duty

You may write me down in history

As often getting it wrong

You may write me down in history

As being very strong

You may write me down in history

As having a dirty laugh

You may write me down in history

As taking many paths

You may write me down in history

As sometimes being lewd

You may write me down in history

As that silly old poet, Jude!
