You’re Tiny Chickadee

by Colly

DSCN1862

Oh, Chickadee Oh, chickadee

you sing a melody

gentle and sweet.

Fairer, still,

is thy white crested breast.

Seen in purity, a feather preen.

Your donning nightly cap is best.

Stately as a noble’s crest.

Oh, chickadee tiny and dainty.

From branch to branch.

You make your way

to feed morn and eve…

How your company

is so inviting,

little

chickadee.

  1. Such a brilliant writing!

Here with (‘Stately as a nobles crest’) I believe you need to make noble’s’.
