Lean On Me

by William

Sometimes life doesn’t feel that good

It doesn’t feel as joyful as it should

But I’m sure you will agree

You can always lean on me

Your world may feel somewhat broken

When there is no word to be spoken

But wherever you may be

You can always lean on me

You can share some story

Even if there’s no glory

How you feel, that’s the key

So please, lean on me

Your wife; she has been set free

Your children are still forlorn

Take these flowers, her grave to adorn

Remember you can always lean on me

Hey, my friend, life may not always be fun

But sometimes you can relax in the sun

And just lean on me a little more

Because that’s what friends are for
