I walk away.

I walk away out of the guilt.

I walk away out of the shame.

I walk away never again the same.

I walk away from you who caused me pain.

I walk away from the the plethora of feelings you used to feign.

I walk away, keep walking still.

Your mumbling words never bring me back.

I only gather the strength you helped me lack.

My path, a bit crumbled, I do not mind,

for I get to see, no longer blind.

They think walking away is shame,

But trust me on this when I say:

“The day you walk away, is the one you finally get to find your way.”
