A Beautiful Choice

I saw a beautiful bloom in the garden today,

So stunning it took my breath away.

I was tempted to snip and bring it indoors

Just so I could enjoy it more.

But it was so pretty

It seemed a pity

To deprive the world

Of its petals unfurled.

I lingered a while

For it made me smile,

Then carried a beautiful memory

Instead of the flower inside with me.

    I bought some Hyacinth’s at a florist’s yesterday; they’ll need to be planted outside (by my husband – I’m no green thumb) They looked nice photographed.
