Poem of the Day — Triple Wind

by paturnerlee

Triple Wind

Blast; another window open

Tend to whistle for another

To touch

To visit

Ambling in sequins

Wet your conscience

With thoughts of drifts

Mountains

Precipice in sight

Light another mantle

A crest pitched on the other side

Too wide to question

An antelope leap from digestion

A different sort of shuffling cards

With a diamond on top

Stop dreaming

Reveal your wish and capture the mystery

Feather boater bending in the breeze

A snuffling perfume

Choking all streams of desire

Wire slips neatly into my cocktail glass

Too much to swallow

A bird flutters past the popping bubbles

Smothered by intention

Screened in case of confusion

Filled in time for the bathers

Points made

Servants missed but forgotten

The tiles have not been polished

Dust covered heartaches

Broken

Tormented

Bereft
