Here Today; Gone Tomorrow

A laser is skirting over my head

Slowly chasing bits and pieces

Of my skull to make dead

 

There is a black toothed monster

Who is brave and shows no fear

As he wriggles through my hair

 

There is some pain

Right in my brain

But no one’s to blame

 

The laser is slowing

It may soon stop

My head is throbbing

Almost ready to pop

 

I am a male

I will not fail

But that’s another tale

 

My head reflects

In the mirror on the wall

Hair now cut shorter

I feel almost ten foot tall
