Spring’s Inviting Floras

by Colly

I’m a daffodil. A daffodil that’s I.

In the sunlight, I’m as yellow as lemon pie.

I’m a hollyhock, stocky and tall.

Watch me dance and try not to fall.

I’m a tulip, delightful and pure.

With me, my dear, you shan’t stay near.

I’m a cardinal, swaying with the breeze.

Try not to sneeze and try not to wheeze.

I’m a crack split and flat.

A lively flora, dance of life.

Bend me over to feel the strife.
