Oxygen mask

Submitted by Sofia Kioroglou

Death kissed you in November
and I am a complete mess inside!
I am suffocating and gasp for some air
but my oxygen mask has now gone to heaven.

Dedicated to my dad who passed away this November.

  1. I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 10 years ago, my mom, 11. I miss them still, but it gets better. Hang in there, remember the good times . . .
    A lovely, moving poem.

  2. Thank you Mary but I feel like a part of me was lost when he passed. I am still thinking about him and it hurts a lot.

  3. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Because I know of the pain you bear, my heart hurts with you.

  4. May sweet memories of his love for you ease your pain and help you experience greater peace.

    • My dad was a blessing to my life and his passing affected me a lot. I see now that his loss has enriched my life in ways I had never imagined before. God bless you and thank you so much for your beautiful words.
