Silent lucidity

by justinvanweerden

I was walking through the city
On a bright summer day
When I saw him standing there
I just wanted to say
Hey how are you
But hè dissapeared like snow
And I imediately felt
The tears on my pillow

In my head I heard
The kingdom of the queen
Singing silent lucidity
And me? I thought About what I’ve seen

I was walking through the city
On a cold winter night
When I saw her running there
For a second within my sight
I just wanted to say
Hey wait don’t run
But then she dissapeared just like the sun

And I wheeped again
When I heard The kingdom of the queen
I whispered silent lucidity
And tought of what I’ve seen

I was walking through the city
When I thought this can’t be true
My mind must be playing me
That just can’t  be you
In my mind I heard
The kingdom of the queen
I knew it had to be a dream
What else could it mean

So I kept dreaming
Singing that song in my head
And I woke up hours later
Smiling in my bed
