Loneliness: Acrostic poem

by 50djohnson

Acrostic poem.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

One Lone Tree

Losing those you love, leave holes in your heart.

Open, bleeding, wounded hearts that don’ t want to start.

New tragic emotions shredding injured souls.

Every thought and feeling like searing, burning coals.

Long, lonely nights soaking pillows with tears.

Into tomorrow, onward through the years.

Never did I dream you would go so soon.

Each memory seems all about me strewn.

Searching for all I lost in the sunset song,

Skies screaming colors, love’s long gone.
