Fire in the Mist

by Scott Andrew Bailey

There’s a fire in the mist
Down in the green sleepy valley
There’s a fire in the mist
A cherry glow shrouded by grey
Growing
If it grows much more
It will burn off the grey sleepy tendrils of morning
And lay waste to the trees
