She Stood

by A. L. O'Prunty

Upon a precipice high
Fell into an infinite sky
Found her space, her center there
Prior she’d been unaware
Nature had so much to give
Climbing down she decide to live
Where the horizon embraces the setting sun

Here life’s canvas to be set free
From daunting colors of misery
That long has filled her life with gloom
The fabrics scattering, logic strewen
About the canvas each life has to fill
She’d make a masterpiece to reel –

The empty spaces,
Leaving, in her wake, on memories faces
The element of surprise
The broken feverishly rise
When salvation comes from infinite skies!
