As marbles we were rolled
Upon this fresh soil called life
Some large, some small
Some fell on silk
Some on grass

Roll we did, with merry hearts
Upon paths we were set
When silk was grass
And grass was silk

As time rolls on

Remain some, marbles
Touching the entire length
Of this soil, yet hold nothing

Become some, stones grounded
Touching but a few feet
Of this soil, held as everything
