A Moment in Time

A moment in time we treasured

Now lost and forgotten

We expressed our hopes, our dreams

Now cast into yesterday

We vowed to love, to cherish

Now hated and despised

We painted a perfect life

Now ripped from its frame

We whispered sweet nothings

Now we do not communicate

Time has moved on

And sadly so have we
