The Day’s Return

by Colly

Orange breath of

sunlit beam.

Hints of shadows

thicker then trees.

Lay ‘neath thus

midnight moon.

But I, I don’t have

the room…

for sorrow in the

morn…

——–

Drench me in thy

promised kiss.

Pardon and love threads

in abundance.

Mother silently whispers

her, attentive, care…

What is given, rejoice

in this…

For it is love that touches

and heals ones soul.

It is love that makes

us whole.
