Tiger Lilies in Summer

by Colly

Tiger lilies oft roam…

dells and leas…

in summer’s heat.

The bell’s shower…

the green jungle…

with color.

Tangy in a stripy orange.

Thirsty in sunny yellow’s.

Ravenous in fussy cerise.

Leaves advance for fair weather.

Flora to adorn in summer.

Us to gasp at their heartiness – o lay.

It’s time to dance along oldergrove – hooray.
