An ode to grandma’s everywhere I’d say.
They just know how to brighten our day.
This following list is to say thank you…!!
Thank you for your creel of joy n peace…
Those tiny faces brightened by support.
As they learn to bake ‘grandma cookies’.
The lessons on watering gardens is fair.
Even if water shoots haplessly in the air.
Those tomatoes are sure to need care…!
Grandma’s knit things are sure to please.
Small toques and gloves colored by love.
A wrap around scarf bobbled on the end.
Sure helps to keep warm on snowy days.
Her baby blankets sewn now a keepsake.
The touch she sprinkles adds up to much.
On many family outings she orchestrates.
Or with get together meals she prepares.
Grandma’s add joyful tears to your heart.
Does anyone outgrow the need for her…?
