Legs, do we need
When our lives move on
On the wheels set by nature
Where the Sun and rain
Play their hide and seek
Where the spring waits
Till the snow’s game is up
Eyes, do we need
When our lives move on
On circles we cannot get off
Speak so, these Devils
Tearing my mind’s flesh
By their ever starved teeth
…..
What good be the Sun
I never touch
What good be the rain
I never measure
When the legs stand frozen
And eyes shut into a locket
Life and love find their way
To slip off the fine edge
Of the wheels of nature
Our flesh still clings on
