Beauty

Beauty held me captivated
as I stood rooted to the spot
A golden light from golden sky
(Though it was far from hot)

Didn’t really mind that much
for the wonder was enough
bringing with it hopefulness
for much more warmer stuff

If this is what I can expect
then bring it on I say
as it borders on perfection
for the brightening of a day
