Poem of the Day — Squeeze em tight

by paturnerlee

Squeeze em tight

Clasp a hand and pull up close

Hearts bounding together, racing, working in motion

Emotions flowing between the rafters

Rooftops of dreams pouring tears of laughter

Free to jump and soar with grace

Flutter and bravely dance in comfort

So brightly sown, flavour of days to come

To realise a glamorous stride out into shaded glory

A blessed iced chill to rinse down new adventure

Silk sheets chase goose bumped excitement

Hold back exposure, breathe deeply last longer

Just a sadness when the moment has passed

Will it happen again

Who knows
