A warming

Blue in garden
Springtime green
Open window
Bright sunbeam
Weather warming
yellow too
Sunshine beckons
pastel hue

Grass grows longer
green abounds
Buds appearing
Springtime sounds
Cold wind fading
warming breeze
Waves receding
Paddling seas

Beach huts open
boats back out
Springtime’s here
there is no doubt
This is a warming
time of year
all to bring us
smiles and cheer
