Poem of the Day — Approach the clamouring

by paturnerlee

Approach the clamouring

Peek a boo, tiptoe, check the prey is unaware

Stroke the well groomed hair to one side

Adjust the tie and check the aroma

Glide in like a gazelle, but not the eating

For meeting, presenting a good picture, appearing to know

What a jumble of well rehearsed words

An idea of position

As if it is important

As if anyone really cared

As if it really matters

Spill the sauce with in minutes and gesticulate

Oh your well rehearsed débâcle is exposed

Human

At last
