In time
Our institutions
Give way to our intuitions
Or at least so evolutionists would say
Was when life followed the road map
As we journeyed in stages
We now just feel
Our way

In doubt
Of one’s direction
Who now consults the book?
Just ask a stranger who’s your friend
For common sense at your crossroads
Consensus is the commentary
Of the modern age
So consult!

Then act
With real conviction
Since sincerity is now a virtue
The righteous are a hard rock band
Which last year were Satan’s Spawn
A new operating system today
Is the new conversion
Of the core

If change
Really is adaptation
To environmental evolution
Argument could be made for senility
Where intuition at least is institution
Where we needing direction
Are at least offered
Wheel chairs
