Would You?

Poetry challenge: Valentines day poem.

If I could tell you
What lies in my heart
of stained glass
If I could show you
What Colours my dreams
As I sleep
If I could give you
Stars as they fall
From the heavens

If I could cry for you
Tears of pure joy
and sweet sorrow
If I could sing to you
With a voice so true
and so kind
If I could touch you
With fingers electric
As they tremble
If I could hold you
In my arms so strong
And so gentle
If I could love you
With a love free
and eternal

Would you
Hold dear or break
My heart
Would you
Make true or dash
My dreams
Would you
Treasure or fear
The stars
Would you
Kiss away or spurn
My tears
Would you
Listen or silence
My voice
Would you
Feel joy or pain
In my touch
Would you
Resist or succumb
to my arms
Would you
Return or reject
My love

Would you?
