Under Grandma’s Quilt – Love Poem for Valentine’s Challenge

by Ellespeth

Under Grandma’s Quilt

I would like to be
wealthy enough
to love you elaborately
~ on velvets and silks ~
I am but a poor poet
loving you
with velvet verses
now and then.

Let’s rest awhile
under Grandma’s quilt
and I’ll show you what I mean.
