Empathy, an Acrostic

Extend your soul from its deepest self
Meeting sorrow while not fearing pain
Place your feet in their shoes of sadness,
Accepting tears as moments of emotional rain


Tire your ears as you unscramble words
Hearing truly, just with your heart
You’ll reach the threshold of empathy if your willing to give it a shot
