Wherever you might be when you look to the sky
Do you take the time to enjoy the beauty above
Too often we are so caught up with our worries
We miss looking at such an expression of love.
Whether you are surrounded by tall buildings
Or maybe you can pause while out in a field
On a cloudless night do you look up and pause
Taking in the beauty that the stars can yield.
We could have been given a blank slate up there
Yet we’re often in awe of those rotating lights
Whether with naked eye or viewing through a lens
We find more and more, the stars in their flights.
With the precision they rotate, not haphazardly
Do we give the credit for such wonderful design
How can we imagine just a big bang causing this
These billions and billions of spots that shine.
