Colour Me

Pick a race
I might be
White, Black, Asian
Running through me.

Pick a place
Let me know
Where I stand
In the thro.

Pick a smile
Not a frown
See my colour
Don’t strike me down.

Pick my heart
See my tears
My blood runs
As yours does dear.

Pick a soul
Run aground
Crushed underfoot
Silent now.

Pick a side
Open eyes
Show Colours love
Share our pride.
