Poem of the Day — Pierce the Bubble

by paturnerlee

Pierce the bubble

Trust in eventuality, singularity, a purpose

Grown truth stands golden

Championed by souls shining, who have dug deep in humanity

A considered response to a sharp answer

No creations asked, pictures shaped on square wall shimmer

A pleasing stream of measured beauty

Clasped in assumptions we will draw our own curtains

Block out wind and rain

Screw down the whisky topped bottled magic

Temper our thoughts to protect our possessions

Wild wind and dust gather in corners of the cavern

Take space and colour from our own vision

Limitless hope is ours to strive for

Place in front of our existence

Share with others a belief in a future

Joy is our life
