White Winter’s Bed – Syllabic Verse – January 15, 2015

White Winter’s Bed

Heavenly,
lingering sweet caress …
(bliss)
my mind wanders
inventing exciting visions …
then I imagine
rain
falling on eager limbs
in springtime.

§

Whispered,
like a warm summer breeze …
(breath)
of life and love
in a moment of ecstasy …
but long ago
sleep
upon white winter’s bed
(in silence).
