Embrace the little death
To escape the thoughts
Of the big one,
The blade
So sharp
Sliding in
Like a lover’s
Penetration,
The blood
Cold in the water
Rapidly spreading
It’s red
Taint
Poems, poets, poetry, writing, poetry challenges
