Reminiscing

Stationery for a time
Failing to see all the lies
Quoting lyrics by the line
Friendship’s broken ties so blind

Retrospect is clear
Wishing to do it all again
Wipe away each tear
Only to see it end the same

Lonely Ranger sighs
Masked emotions quickly hide
The sadness of goodbyes
Washed away in the hopeless tide
